PandaPocket

Panda Pocket (real name Harlan Neumann) is a proudly genreless artist from the midwest United States. While his releases on PXVK focus solely on dubstep and complextro, because Panda doesn't feel much of an attachment to any genre, instead approaching music as simply that: music.

All he listened to was EDM for nearly four years, but after being introduced to other genres, there was no way of going back. His horizons had broadened. In both of his listening and songwriting habits, there are one goal: creativity and originality.

Between synthesizers, audio engineering, guitars, piano, singing and every skill he learns along the way, PandaPocket believes it is the time to break genre norms and the restraints from what anyone can provide.

“Make something great, and give it a genre afterwards. The other way around is a slow, agonizing death for creativity. Not just music, but all modern art forms need to learn this.”
